Talking to Jeremy

So I was just talking to my friend Jeremy who is coming with his twin brother, Brian, to work on the computer lab. Right now the computer lab is a dingy dirty dungeon that no one wants to go into. Computers aren't hooked up properly and everything is a mess. After talking with him, we agreed to a common vision of cleaning up the computer lab and getting at least 4 computers working properly along with a printer. We also want to make the room look more inviting to students. As it stands right now there is cardboard over a window and Jeremy is talking about something as simple as a curtain. There's a big TV in the back that is just sitting there and we would have to mount that in a classroom. We need to clear out space in the back so that we can stack more equipment in the back and make the front of the computer lab (towards the door) more accessible and inviting to students.

With the computers we need to figure out which are the best 4 computers and then move those towards the door. The area towards the front of the door will be our "computer lab" area. Jeremy's pretty excited about this as a project and I am too. I'm going to hook him up with one of the students at school who is really into computers and that student will learn from him while helping do grunt work. Lots of computers are old and donated and we will have to see which ones we should just scrap and which ones we should try to do something with. We should be able to salvage something from some of the old computers. Maybe just an old ass computer that just does word processing or something who knows. Whatever the case... we'll try to hook the school up.
